Immediately I thought gosh I need to find out how to create this scent with essential oils! There were a few reasons I wanted to create the scent with essential oils. Firstly, despite Aveda being plant based, they’re not exclusively plant ingredients; they use chemical perfumes. Now the use of perfumes is not an issue 100% of the time, but for those with sensitive skin like myself and for those who don’t want to use synthetic chemicals in their homes, this can be a problem. Secondly, I exclusively scent my home with doTERRA essential oils, and since I fell in love with this scent, I wanted to be able to diffuse it in my home via essential oils. I immediately went to Pinterest to find blends to recreate this scent because while Aveda lists some of their ingredients for the Shampure line, they don’t name all 25 essential oils used to create this scent.
